Fix Google Redirect Virus - Discover How You Can Get Rid Of Google Redirect Virus Easily

The Google redirect
virus
is a type of virus that operates by altering the Google
search engine results so that it displays affiliate and advertisement
links instead of the real search results. Your computer gets infected
by visiting an infected site. A trojan downloads in the background
secretly. It usually executes whenever you open your browser. The other damage it can cause is
to redirect the pages of the websites to spam and ad websites or bring
up ad pop ups on the screen. Users who are experiencing this type of problems
do not need to worry because they can easily fix Google redirect virus
and also keep their systems away from future attacks by it.

The first step to fix
Google redirect virus
is to open the “System32” folder found in the
Windows folder located at the local drive or the drive C. Once you are inside the System 32 folder, look for
"regedit.exe". Click on it. The next step is to rename "regedit.exe" to something you
can remember easily. Now, disable it. The reason for this is that this is the place
where the Google redirect virus executes from. The next step is to
download the anti-malware software and run it in their system. It is important
that you install the best type of anti-malware software so that you can
get rid of all types of infections that the system has. When it comes to downloading them
from internet sites, you should ensure that you have selected sites
that are reputable and secure. It
is hard to believe, but the number if scam sites offering anti malware
which will infect your PC with even more malicious code, viruses and
trojans is growing every day. Once you have donwloaded a
reputable anti malware software make sure to scan ALL files and folders
on your harddrive to make sure all viruses and othe rmalicious code
gets found.

After the scan has been completed - this may take a
while - and all threats have been fixed, go back to the System32
folder. Look for the file you renamed before and change the name back
to "regedit.exe" The next step is to open the registry
editor window. If you don't know how to do this: go to the start menu,
click on run and type in "regedit". Look for
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. Once you found it, choose "software". Then select “Microsoft” and on
the “Windows” tab pick “CurrentVersion” and then “run”.
Look at the right window for an exe file called
RegSVR32=%system%msmsgs.exe. Delete it.

You should note that this
folder contains extremely important files. If you delete the wrong
file, Windows might stop working completely and you will have to
re-install the whole operating system. So better double check that you
are deletign the correct file. In oder to complete the
process, you will have to reboot your PC.

If you did everything correctly, href="http://www.redirectvirusremoval.net">Google redirect virus
should have been removed from your system. Try it! Go to Google and search for
something. Your Google
search results should now take you to real websites and not to fake
affiliate sites. I highly recommend updating your anti-virus
